About UsComputers and Society is an online magazine of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), managed by the ACM Special Interest Group on Computers and Society (SIGCAS). The purpose of this publication is to bring together computer professionals, specialists in other fields, and the public at large to address concerns and raise awareness about the ethical and societal impact of computers. We publish peer-reviewed and non-peer reviewed articles, book reviews, educational materials, research reports, industry reports, bibliographies, conference information and news from related organizations within and outside the ACM. Current content of C&S is open to the public. Archived content is available to members of the ACM Digital Library and members of ACM SIGCAS
